Our leadership teams
Welcome to the University of Southern Queensland’s Residential Colleges!
While there’s no place like home, our Residential Colleges will make you feel like part of the UniSQ family. We are committed to providing a truly personal student experience. From Orientation Week through to graduation and beyond, we’re here to help you succeed.

UniSQ Residential Colleges offer a number of paid and volunteer student leadership positions. The Collegiate team is a group of residents who assist with any support you might require while living on college; whether academic, social or personal. Each college block has an allocated Residential Leader who will be your first point of contact for any questions you have.
The Senior Residential Leaders (one at each College) report to the Manager (Residential Life) and have certain decision making and approval authorities to ensure the College is managed effectively to everyone's benefit.
The student leader representatives in the Resident Student Club (RSC) are responsible for arranging social events throughout the year, including formal and semi-formal dinners, informal social activities, excursions, sporting fixtures and inter-college events. Available positions include:
- President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Social Coordinator (one for each College)
- Sports Coordinator (one for each College)
- Charity and Community Engagement Officer
- Diversity and Equity Officer
- Health and Sports Recreation Officer
- Merchandise and Stores Officer.
For information regarding the RSC, including a copy of the constitution of the RSC, please email us: rsc@unisq.edu.au
Res Peer Assisted Learning Session (PALS) Leaders work collaboratively with the Manager (Residential Life), Associate Academic Support Officer and other Res PALS Leaders and Peer Mentors in all aspects of the Res PALS Program, including contact, correspondence and feedback. They support volunteer Peer Mentors in the delivery of the program sessions.
The Residential Colleges Photographer(s) captures all aspects of our Residential Life program. Photos are available to residents via the internal Microsoft Teams groups, with some used on the public Residential Colleges page. If students ever have any concerns with the use of images, they should let the Resident Photographer know or contact the Colleges by email.
The Resident Information Technology (IT) Assistant is available to assist residents with network access and associated internet issues. They also provide AV support at events and activities.
