Art Collection
The University of Southern Queensland Art Collection contains over 1000 diverse and engaging artworks. This art collection contains contemporary Australian artworks, supplemented by historical artworks. It was established to contribute to the educational enterprise of the University, and to enrich the cultural experience of the wider community.
The collection continues to grow with both permanent and loaned items and artworks span a variety of mediums including paper, painting, sculpture, photography, drawing textiles, mixed media, and ceramics. The collection reflects the community and the topical issues which have shaped the University.
Artworks within the collection are displayed in exhibitions, public study areas, and buildings across the University's campuses.
