UniSQ Stanthorpe Hub

The UniSQ Stanthorpe Hub is based within the Queensland College of Wine Tourism, 140 kilometres south of Toowoomba. We provide a face-to-face service to connect learners from the Southern Downs, Granite Belt and New England regions.  


The UniSQ Stanthorpe Hub is a joint venture between the Queensland College of Wine Tourism (QCWT) and the Queensland Government, the college provides training opportunities in partnership with the wine tourism industry.

At UniSQ, our Diploma of Wine students gain valuable industry experience during residential school courses at the QCWT, where they have the opportunity to achieve internationally recognised certification from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. As a UniSQ Diploma of Wine students have access to:

  • free and confidential career development, counselling and learning support.
  • study spaces with computers, printing services and free Wi-Fi between 6.00am to 5.30pm on weekdays and 10.00am to 4.00pm on weekends. 
  • Academic writing workshops
  • digital literacy workshops

The hub works with many local support services including Community Development Services (CDS) to provide support with:

  • accommodation
  • foodbank
  • employment services
  • disability support
  • Centrelink and other community support networks.
