Rocket Science 101

When
25 - 26 JUN 2024
Where
UniSQ Toowoomba and Springfield

Year 11 and 12 students are invited to join our School Holiday Experience Sessions.

Experience our Rocket Science half-day course, Rocket Science 101!

Delve into the mechanics of rocket propulsion using the dynamic example of water rockets. Participants will discover the science behind pressurising water within a bottle to generate thrust, experiencing firsthand the principles that propel rockets into the sky. Throughout the course, participants will gain insight into the intricate processes involved in launching a rocket, from conception to touchdown. Engage in hands-on activities where you'll build and launch your very own water rocket to predict and control its trajectory.

Led by Dr Matt Richardson, iLAuNCH’s Director of Space Education Programs, this experience promises to ignite your curiosity and propel your understanding of rocketry to new heights. Don't miss this opportunity to explore the wonders of Rocket Science.

This program is suitable for anyone interested in Space Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Simulation and Engineering.
