Join Australian ceramicist Peta Berghofer for an in-depth exploration into hand-built ceramics.
When
13 MAY - 24 JUN 2025
Where
A229, UniSQ Toowoomba

Learn to build ceramic objects unique to your own artistic interests, ideas and storytelling using a variety of ceramic handbuilding techniques and surface finishes.

Within the first two classes, you will learn fundamental ceramic hand-building methods including pinch, coil, and slab building techniques.

With these new skills, you will then be free to create objects of your own artistic vision, decorated with a selection of ceramic colours.

At the completion of the course, you will have confidence in clay joining and finishing skills and will leave with several ceramic objects you will be proud to show others.

Classes are held Tuesday evenings 6 pm-9 pm, between 13 May and June 24. Please note, there is a one week break between weeks five and six.
