University of Southern Queensland Vice-Chancellor Professor Geraldine Mackenzie is excited about this year’s Regional Visit.

Next week, the University of Southern Queensland will travel into the heart of the regions to meet with council, community and industry members along with students and alumni.

As part of the annual Regional Visit, the University’s Executive team and staff members will head to Warwick, Dalby, Chinchilla, Kingaroy and the Bunya Mountains.

With regional Queensland considered the home and lifeblood of the University, the visit aims to foster strong connections with new and existing stakeholders, advance higher education opportunities and inspire research with global impact.

Activities will include school visits, social networking events, industry collaborations and tours.

During last year’s inaugural Regional Visit, the University of Southern Queensland enjoyed time in Charleville, Roma, St George and Goondiwindi.
