University of Southern Queensland has farewelled visiting Fulbright Specialist Professor Krishna Bista after a rewarding three-week exchange of ideas and expertise.
The visiting scholar swapped his offices at Morgan State University in Maryland, United States for the sunny offices of our Springfield campus. The exchange program was part of the international Fulbright Specialist program.
Dr Bista's research interests encompass student mobility, doctoral student experiences, technology in higher education, leadership preparation and practice, and college access and success.
During his visit, he presented a number of seminars for the university including one that focused on harnessing the power of AI.
The University of Southern Queensland School of Education Head of School and Dean Associate Professor Peter Cook presented Professor Bista with a gift from the university and also from the School as he wrapped up his three-week visit.
The Fulbright Specialist program is a competitive exchange program that allows Fulbright Scholars to visit international institutions to share expertise and strengthen relationships within a project setting.
