The life of Prime Minister Gough Whitlam will be in the spotlight for the University of Southern Queensland’s (UniSQ) second and third year theatre performance on Thursday (October 3).

Written and directed by award-winning playwrights David and Emily Burton, the comedy will take audiences through Whitlam’s most infamous dealings in office and life.

From the raid on Australian spy headquarters, to the smuggling of $4 billion into the country – and that infamous “God Save the Queen” quote – nothing will be off limits.

The performance will open Thursday night at 7pm, and will include performances on Friday at 11am and 7pm, with a final performance on Saturday at 7pm.
