Scholarships will be awarded to develop novel high-performance electrodes and CO2 electrolysers in the following areas.
- To design and fabricate highly active gas diffusion electrodes for CO2 electrochemical conversions;
- To develop an in-depth understanding of catalytic mechanisms considering reactant transportation and triple-phase microenvironment via pore structure characterisation and fluid dynamic modelling.
- To evaluate the electrochemical performance of gas diffusion electrodes and study the potential scale-up solutions
UniSQ Centre for Future Materials (CFM) has gained a reputation for pioneering research and development in advanced composite manufacturing, civil composites, smart materials, and geopolymer & concrete.
These PhD scholarships offer the opportunity to work alongside leading researchers within CFM on a topic at the forefront of advanced composites and will have access to a range of professional development initiatives.
