Barry Fields Memorial Scholarship

In 2025, UniSQ will offer two Barry Fields Memorial Scholarships to support students continuing their studies in the Master of Learning and Teaching (MELT, MPLT or MSLT), or Master of Education (MEDC/MEDF).

The Barry Fields Memorial Scholarship was established by his sons, Mark and Tim, to remember Barry and honour his dedication and enthusiasm for teaching and education.

For almost 40 years up to his retirement in 2015, Barry was a lecturer, researcher, and research student mentor in a range of subjects within the UniSQ Faculty of Education. He had a passion for Special Education.
