Cityhope Church Scholarship in Paramedicine

In 2025, UniSQ will offer one Cityhope Church Scholarship in Paramedicine to support a student continuing their studies in the Bachelor of Paramedicine.

After many years supporting Emergency Service workers in the Ipswich community through their Heroes Day recognition fundraiser, the Cityhope Church in Ipswich has extended its recognition of this important professional area to support and encourage a UniSQ student seeking to establish a career in emergency service work through study in the Bachelor of Paramedicine.

Value
The scholarship will have a maximum value of $5000 to be paid in one instalment.

Applicants must:

  • be a domestic student currently residing in Australia
  • be a resident of the Ipswich City Council Local Government Area
  • be continuing their studies full-time at UniSQ in the Bachelor of Paramedicine in Study Period 1 2025 (e.g., Trimester 1 2025)
  • have, as at the release of results for Study Period 2 2024 (e.g., Semester 2 2024):
    • a minimum of 4 study units completed and credited to their current program
    • a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 5.0
  • be enrolled on-campus at UniSQ Ipswich.

Applicants must:

  • address each personal statement question below (250 words maximum per question):
    • reflecting on your studies to date, how will you make the most of your remaining studies at UniSQ
    • how do you see yourself as a future professional within your field
  • provide evidence to show you are a resident of the Ipswich City Council Local Government Area (refer LGA directory), as directed in the application process. 

*Applicants will also be assessed on academic achievement.

Please Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.

Application must be made via the UniSQ Scholarships Online Application Management System.
