Clem Jones and Geoff Wright Scholarship

In 2025, UniSQ will offer one Clem Jones and Geoff Wright Scholarship to support a student commencing their studies in the Bachelor of Surveying Technology, or Bachelor of Surveying (Honours). 

Established in 2022 through the founding gifts from Clem Jones Foundation, Springfield City Group and the Institute of Surveyors Australia (Qld) Bicentennial Education Fund, this endowed scholarship celebrates the surveying careers of Clem Jones AO and Geoff Wright by supporting surveying students through their studies.

The scholarship will have a maximum value of $12 000 to be paid over three years. 

Applicants must:

  • be a domestic student currently residing in Australia
  • be a commencing student
  • be intending to enrol full-time at UniSQ in the Bachelor of Surveying Technology, or Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) in Study Period 1 2025 (e.g., Trimester 1 2025).

Applicants must:

  • address each personal statement question below (250 words maximum per question):
    • what influenced and motivated you to choose your intended study program at UniSQ
    • how do you see yourself as a future professional within your field
  • provide evidence of academic achievement as directed in the application process:
    • final year school report or post-secondary academic history (transcript of results) 
  • provide evidence of your current financial circumstances.

Please Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.

Application must be made via the UniSQ Scholarships Online Application Management System.
