Dean’s Support Scholarship (DSS)

Applications are assessed on a combination of need and merit and are open to all HDR students at UniSQ in all programs.

Applications for the Dean’s Equity Scholarship will be considered from students who:

  • are currently enrolled in a UniSQ HDR program
  • are studying within Australia
  • can demonstrate real and enduring need for support
  • can demonstrate progress in their HDR studies
 

Applicants will be ranked on the basis of the following:

  • need for support
  • academic merit
Selection will be made by the Dean or nominee.

Selection process

Applications will be assessed on :
  • Scholarships will be awarded once only to applicants deemed most deserving by the selection panel.
  • UniSQ reserves the right to not award scholarships in any given year, or to award a very limited number of scholarships. 
 

To apply, please ensure you have digital copies of the below information:

  • USQ Academic Transcript
  • Personal statement detailing your reasons for applying (explain your need for support including financial need if applicable
  • Bank statements for at least the past 6 months from all accounts you hold
  • Applicants must declare all sources of income and demonstrate why their outgoings are greater than their income
  • Any supporting documents

 

Application must be made via the UniSQ Scholarship Application Management System.
