Placement and Residential School Bursaries - 2025

In 2025, UniSQ will offer a number of bursaries to support undergraduate students attending compulsory placements and residential schools.

With limited funding available, the allocation process for these bursaries is competitive. Therefore, meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee a bursary. Applications are assessed based on the advertised criteria and awarded depending on the funds available for the respective study period.

Applications for the bursaries will be open in Trimesters 1, 2 and 3 2025.

Eligible students are encouraged to apply for both the Commonwealth Prac Payment (CPP) (available in May 2025) and this Placement/Clinical Placement Bursary offered by the University of Southern Queensland.

The bursary value will range from $250 to $1000 and will be paid in one instalment as follows:

  • 41 to 80 hours: $250
  • 81 to 120 hours: $500
  • 121 to 160 hours: $750
  • 161 hours and over: $1000

*Students attending one or more residential schools are eligible to apply and will receive a single payment of $250 if successful.
