How would your organisation respond in the face of a cyber threat? Do you, your colleagues and employees know how to act if your online systems are compromised? Creating a workforce that is resilient and agile in the face of a cyber threat is essential to organisational success. During this intensive two-day course, you will be introduced to tangible and practical guidelines to strengthen your organisation’s cyber security. Explore a range of controls (policy, technology, governance and regulations) that can be integrated into your cyber security strategy and discover how to empower those around you to act in a secure and safe way online. The biggest risk to an organisation is insider threats, know what to look out for when it comes to compromised accounts or malicious or negligent employees. You’ll learn through interactive discussions, information sessions and industry experts reflecting on their own experiences and approaches. By completing this course you’ll learn how to build a workforce that possess the knowledge, confidence and skillsets to mitigate cyber-attacks.

Professor Raj Gururajan is a technology specialist at the forefront of information technology and cyber security education. A pioneer in delivering education in these sectors, Raj has also curated and conducted many professional courses in the domains of disaster recovery planning, computer security, end user computing and research methodology for professionals in Australia, India, Mauritius and Singapore. With over 25 years of experience in developing IT systems designed to create business efficiencies and bolster cyber security, Raj is the architect of the Master of Cyber Security at the University of Southern Queensland. Raj also supervises UniSQ PhD students as they use cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology.
