In today’s business arena, while managing industry uncertainty, competition and financial viability, ethical leadership is an active, practised skill, essential in navigating these pressures. In this two-day, interactive course, delivered by renowned ethics and sustainability expert, Professor Tapan Sarker, you will learn how to understand ethical dilemmas and apply ethical reasoning and critical thinking to ethical decision making. Professor Tapan Sarker
Associate Head of School for Outreach, Engagement and Internationalisation

       

Professor Tapan Sarker is an internationally renowned expert in ethics, sustainability, and finance. Over his 25-year career, Tapan has provided training and management consultation to several international organisations, including the World Bank, OXFAM, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Laos, the Mongolian Revenue Authority, Rio Tinto, Xstrata, Mahindra and Mahindra India and Sinar Mas Indonesia. Tapan has led projects in a number of Asian Pacific countries and assisted on projects in the ASEAN region. With research cited by various government and international organisations, including the Australian Senate, New South Wales Parliamentary Committee, Asian Development Bank, and International Monetary Fund, Tapan’s decades of experience now culminates at the University of Southern Queensland where he is currently Associate Head of School (Outreach, Engagement and International) for the School of Business.
