This short course defies convention by examining the role of a leader and highlights how cooperation manifests within a team. Examine the art of teamwork and discover its role in achieving optimal team performance and engagement. This course emphasises the importance of diversity within teams and why you should harness the expertise of those around you to establish a culture that maximises the wisdom of the crowd. After attending this course you’ll know how to foster a supportive work environment that encourages creative problem solving and increases employee job satisfaction. Through games-based activities you will have the opportunity to build your leadership skills, as well as network with and learn from with other industry professionals.

Dr Anita Wheeldon, Senior Lecturer

       

With a career spanning over 20 years, Dr Anita Wheeldon's extensive experience in team management and higher education research has made her an expert in business practices and team building. Anita recently became a Senior Business Lecturer at UniSQ and previously was the Program Director for UniSQ’s Master of Business. She has taught university students and future business professionals sustainable business practices, focusing on the holistic impact of business within society.
