This course explores what innovation means, where it comes from, and what is required to bring about innovativeness in organisations. How to work through purposeful development and application of appropriate practices that could facilitate innovation to manifest and take hold in organisations.

What will you achieve?

By the end of the course, you'll be able to:

  • Analyse, describe and debate the nature and importance of innovation.
  • Analyse, critically discuss and apply principles and practices to develop innovation in enterprises/organisations.

  • Theories and models of, and approaches to innovation

Assessment

To be eligible for a digital badge for this course, you will need to successfully complete an assessment which includes:

  • 2-part report on how you choose and then apply theory and practice.
  • The optional assessment is due at the beginning of week 7.

  • This level for this microcredential is Proficient.
    The material for this course has been designed for students who have already demonstrated a high level of skill in the subject matter. Students must have relevant experience and/or have studied the course material before (at competent level).
