Leveraging Team Diversity for Success

It is well established that decisions and projects executed by diverse teams deliver better results.

This course will help leaders build and enhance their team’s capacity, as well as identify challenges and optimise team diversity to create an inclusive and effective team. You will learn about diversity of thought, team dynamics and leadership theories. This course has a four-week teaching period requiring a total of approximately 40 hours of learning. All course learning materials are available on demand.

Assessment

To be eligible for a digital badge for this course, you will need to successfully complete an assessment which includes:

• An analysis of contexts, objectives and strategies to leverage diversity.

  The material for this course has been designed for students who have already demonstrated a high level of skill in the subject matter. Students must have relevant experience and/or have studied the course material before (at competent level).

With a career spanning over 20 years, Dr Anita Wheeldon's extensive experience in team management and higher education research has made her an expert in business practices and team building. Anita recently became a Senior Business Lecturer at UniSQ. She has taught university students and future business professionals sustainable business practices, focusing on the holistic impact of business within society.
