After a successful career of 20 years, Colette wanted to polish her academic skills and go to university. She enrolled in UniSQ’s Tertiary Preparation Pathway (UniReady) and after completing a psychology course Colette was inspired to learn more about this field.
“I found it really interesting and the future career aspects looked promising,” she said.
After completing UniReady, it seemed logical to Colette to continue her studies at UniSQ.
“The flexibility of study at UniSQ is brilliant, all classes are recorded so it’s not a big concern if I missed classes. The lecturers are very friendly and they want you to succeed,” she said.
Flexibility is something that Colette relies on – between work, study, and family her weeks are very busy. In addition to detailed schedules, clear communication, and realistic goal setting, Colette recommends using the university supports to help juggle it all.
“The University has a great student support team, you can talk to academic advisors for free,” she said.
“UniSQ is a dedicated university and wants all its students to be successful.”
