Eddie’s legal career has carried him across Queensland, from the remote reaches of the Gulf of Carpentaria to the very centre of the state’s justice system in Brisbane’s CBD.
It all started in Toowoomba, in the lecture halls of the University of Southern Queensland.
“I’ve always had a thirst for knowledge and a need learn and challenge what I know,” said Eddie.
When considering where to study, it was important to Eddie that study fit in with his lifestyle.

Now working in the Queensland Police Service as a civilian prosecutor in Brisbane Arrest Courts, Eddie explained how postgraduate study helped him achieve success in his career.
“UniSQ allowed me to gain the knowledge and skills I need to fulfill my role and responsibilities at work.
“The Juris Doctor and my undergraduate studies built my critical thinking skills; I can now confidently challenge perceived concepts and evaluate possible alternatives as solutions to various problems.”
