Prior to graduating from UniSQ with a Master of Arts (Editing and Publishing), Saira completed Certificates II and III in Business and an undergraduate dual degree in Arts and Business.
Saira previously worked as PR & Communications Coordinator at Australia Zoo and as Digital Media Officer at Surf Life Saving Queensland.
Combining her professional communication skills with her love for reading and writing, Saira enrolled in UniSQ’s Master of Arts in Editing and Publishing. As a hobby, she began transcribing the manuscript of her late grandfather’s unpublished autobiography, using the editing process as her final research project. One of Saira’s biggest goals is to publish her grandfather’s story for the world to experience and enjoy.

Currently Social Media Manager for Greyhound Australia, Saira also runs a freelance editing business, publishing several books with Black Phoenix Publishing Collective.
