After working full-time for five years in administration and marketing, Xanthia decided she wanted a career in an area that she has always been interested in. As a working mum with a new baby boy, Xanthia knew flexibility was essential to make study work for her.
'I have so much going on and I just need to be able to make the time work for me.'
Enrolling full-time into a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) with the University of Southern Queensland, Xanthia currently fits study into her schedule, combining on-campus and online learning. With a busy lifestyle, she studies wherever she can, including on the train, in her lunch break, at home, in the library and listening to lectures in the car.
'I would never have gone to any of the other universities because I know how good UniSQ is with flexible study. They are so easy to work with, especially when you don’t fit into that typical student lifestyle.'
Currently finishing her Honours, Xanthia hopes to become an Organisational Psychologist.
