Join the UniSQ Library

All UniSQ students and staff are automatically library members with access to our online collections and services.
Alumni, Public or Reciprocal members can access our physical collections at our campus libraries. Licensed electronic and digital content is not available to Alumni, students or staff from other universities or members of the public.
Use your Student ID card to borrow from the Library.

If borrowing in person, take your Student ID card or photo ID to the Library Help Desk.

As an online student you also have access to postal loans and scanning/copying services.

Use your Staff ID card or photo ID to borrow from the Library.

Annual membership for Alumni is free.

Please note: membership does NOT include access to online databases and e-resources due to licencing restrictions.

Join in person at the Library Help Desk of each campus.

You will need to bring:

  • a completed UniSQ Library Registration (PDF 154KB)
  • photo ID
  • proof of residence e.g. driver's licence, bank statement, electricity or phone bill. 
  • proof of membership with U3A (if applicable)

Pricing

Adult:
6 months - $33
12 months - $55

High school students:
6 months - $16.50
12 months - $27.50

Payment can be made online (credit card only).

Free annual membership is available for members of U3A.

Students or staff at other ULANZ universities

Students or staff members from other Australian universities who are a part of University Libraries of Australia and New Zealand (ULANZ) can join in person at the Library Help Desk.

In addition, students with Open University Australia are also eligible to join.

You will need to bring:

  • a completed UniSQ Library Registration form (PDF 154KB)

  • photo ID

  • proof of current enrolment (students) or employment (staff). This could be a staff ID card or student enrolment advice from your home institution.

  • proof of residence e.g. driver's licence, electricity bill, rates notice.

Pricing

  • Membership is free and expires 28 February the following year.

Students at other tertiary institutions

Join in person at the Library Help Desk of each campus.

Students of overseas universities

Membership is free

You will need to bring:

  • letter of introduction from your home university*

  • photo ID

  • proof of residence e.g. driver's licence, electricity bill, rates notice.

* The letter must be on official university letterhead, contain the contact details of the Lending Services supervisor (or equivalent), outline the course in which you are enrolled, and provide a statement of indemnity for lost or damaged material borrowed from UniSQ Library.
