The Ag Industry Roundtable unites agricultural service providers in the Longreach region to exchange updates on their activities and explore collaboration opportunities. This event enables service providers to effectively disseminate information to producers. With numerous valuable programs and opportunities in the Longreach region, this roundtable is essential for effective information sharing.

In April 2022, the hub's Armidale Node partnered with the UNE SMART Region Incubator to host three ag tech showcase events in Armidale, Moree and Narrabri. At each event, a selected group of technology providers were given the opportunity to speak about how their product/solution supported farmers to better manage climate. The presentations were followed by an expo session allowing participants to speak one-on-one with technology providers. Participation across the three events included 135 participants and 14 ag tech providers.
The events supported the New England North West (NENW) region’s efforts to build capability, business opportunities and resilience for agricultural production to ensure agriculture is a significant driver of long-term prosperity. The UNE SRI delivered the 2022 AgriTech Futures Series in collaboration with InAg.Tech, the hub's Armidale Node and local councils in Armidale, Tamworth, Narrabri and Moree.

The hub's Longreach Node brought together ag innovators, showcasing the latest tech directly to local graziers at the Muttaburra Stock Show. A dedicated ag innovation hub was arranged featuring SkyKelpie (drone mustering research and solutions), OPS Australia (property management), MyFootprint (greenhouse gas calculator) and Climate Friendly (carbon farming project services).
