  • Are you an aspiring law postgraduate, practicing lawyer or professional in law? UniSQ’s Master of Laws is designed to ensure your knowledge remains current and contemporary as a legal professional. Committing to research and education during your career is essential to remain competitive and impactful.  
  • The Master of Laws is designed to build upon legal knowledge gained at the Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Juris Doctor levels. You will have the opportunity to write a law research project on a topic of your choice, undertaken with the guidance of an expert supervisor. 
  • You will benefit from a suite of innovative and topical legal specialist postgraduate courses. Choose from five specialisations that reflect areas of in-need legal practice: Commercial Law, Family Law, International Law, Legal Practice or Public Law. 
  • You will expand your expertise with an elective of your choosing from a myriad of options to broaden your knowledge, from advanced taxation law, international humanitarian law, or advanced criminology, just to name a few. 
  • Complete your degree in one year when studying full-time or two years part-time. Choose from three different start times throughout the year (February, May or September), options to fast-track your study are available. 
As a graduate of the Master of Laws, further study may include research-related degrees, such as the Master of Research or a Doctor of Philosophy

The cost of a Master of Law in Australia will vary depending on the education provider you choose.

When you study with us, the first year of your studies will cost approximately AUD 33500 (Domestic full fee paying), not including student services and amenities fees.
