As early as Adelaide Cool can remember, studying law has been in her future.
Since she was little, she would argue a point or stick up for the underdog which started jokes and people saying, ‘you should become a lawyer’.
'That started a spark in me, so I delved into it further and ever since I realised that, I had such a passion for it.'
This research led the first-year law student to UniSQ. Adelaide liked that UniSQ was a smaller university which meant that she was able to have contact with lecturers, which was important to her.
'It was a great decision with all this craziness during the pandemic. Even though we were all online I would get an email response from my lecturer on the same day, so that was really great.'
Also helping in the “craziness” was the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship that Adelaide received for getting an OP 6 and putting UniSQ first on her QTAC application.
'The Become Rewarded scholarships were a factor in why I chose to study at UniSQ and it has helped me massively.'
