Kerenza is one impressive 19-year-old – after graduating from high school with a 99.25 ATAR, Dux Award, and one of UniSQ’s scholarships, her future was full of possibilities. With a passion for astronomy and business, Kerenza was drawn to a double degree at UniSQ.
“UniSQ has the absolute best astronomy program out of anywhere I researched.
“After a visit to the Mount Kent Observatory I was super excited to start studying, I saw just how amazing the facilities were at UniSQ,” she said.
Kerenza quickly threw herself into university life and with her business degree she has been able to do what she loves, discover new interests, and practice the skills she needs for her future career.
“A business degree is such a great way to build your employability. At UniSQ, you learn about so many different business specialisations in your first year of study, I’ve tried economics, customer experience, accounting, and leadership classes,” she said.
A common thread throughout Kerenza’s journey is pursuing passions and honing skills, she knows what she’s good at and what she’d like to explore.
“When used together, business and science create the perfect blend of what I am interested in, what I love, and what I feel best utilises my talents.”
