Mah Pei Zhen takes charge in her study life, completing dual awards from her home country in Malaysia.
Mah is two semesters into her UniSQ Bachelor of Creative Arts (Film, Television and Radio). She is also a current student at her home university in Malaysia where she is also completing a Bachelor of Communication (Media Production) (Honours).
'Studying two awards at the same time is made possible through online study. My UniSQ experiences have been really positive, especially as I became familiar with their online system.'
She says she has learned to push ahead in order to make steady progress.
'Time management has been critical to be able to cope with assignments and keep up with the reading expectations of both universities.'
'The ability to study online has enabled me to take ownership of my learning. I have watched videos provided for my courses, but I have also found external, additional information to assist my studies by myself. My tutors are available to help of course, but I have enjoyed becoming more self-disciplined and self-reliant.'
