The Residential Colleges have limited availability to assist with conferences and group bookings - generally only between mid-November and Christmas.
The UniSQ Catering team, as part of Financial Services is here to help with any catering and function requirements.
The Steele Rudd Dining Hall Function Centre is available for functions and events through our UniSQ Catering Service. This space cannot be hired without engaging catering for the event (i.e. no hire only option available). The Dining Hall is equipped with fans and wall heaters, but does not have any airconditioning.
The main dining room is the largest space available for bookings. The space contains a stage with lighting and projector, a grand piano, bar (also with the capacity to service the JCR area), servery and commercial kitchen (to be used by UniSQ catering staff only).

The JCR is a recreational area within the building that is available for booking for more casual events. The area includes a pool table, several couches, a ping pong table, a tv, speakers and bar access (if required). This space is generally only available during recess and flexible learning periods.
An electric barbeque and several long wooden picnic-style tables occupy the space. Please note this area is only partly covered and some sections can get wet in rainy conditions.

With over 420 beds, Residential Colleges provide short-term accommodation for small and large groups. Please note that the University is undergoing a Flexible Academic Calendar project and the Residential Colleges will generally only be available between mid November and Christmas each year.
