Wireless internet

The UniSQ Wireless Network, run on eduroam, provides staff and students, as well as our guests from participating institutions with internet access across all campuses. 

What does this mean for me?

  • Internet access is subject to acceptable use. ICT recommends you review the Acceptable Use of ICT Resources Policy.
  • Usage will be logged.
  • Access to sites considered to be malicious or not fitting acceptable use criteria may be restricted.

UniSQ WiFi outdoor coverage

While UniSQ focuses on WiFi coverage in teaching and learning spaces, UniSQ also offers WiFi access on the UniSQ shuttle bus service in addition to the following outdoor locations on-campus:

UniSQ Toowoomba 

  • Japanese Garden
  • Quad
  • Gumbi Gumbi Gardens
  • Car Park 10 (solar panel area)

UniSQ Springfield

  • A and B quad area

UniSQ Ipswich 

  • UniSQ Cafe

Please be advised that wireless signal strength can be affected by where you are on campus. Coverage and wireless network performance may vary due to a range of factors, including building materials, internal walls and your distance from a wireless access point.

UniSQ Wi-Fi

UniSQ’s Wi-Fi network provides students, staff and guests from participating institutions with free, secure Internet access while on campus.
