Multicultural support

Explore support available for international, and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) students.
At UniSQ we have a rich cultural diversity within our student population, and creating a culture that values diversity and respect for all students has been a priority for our university. The range of support services and offerings available can help you during your time at UniSQ.
The USQ Student Guild Advocacy Office offers free confidential support for UniSQ students in regards to their rights and responsibilities as students.
As part of Orientation each semester UniSQ provides an information session for all new international students. The program includes academic information, support services, Australian culture, living in Australia, making friends and support networks, and getting the most out of your time here. Visit the Student Events Calendar for information about upcoming sessions.

Making friends can seem really hard, but it doesn't have to be. At UniSQ there are lots of ways that you can connect and make friends, including student clubs, student representation, PALs, Peer Mentoring, sport and more.

For more information visit AskUniSQ or contact UniSQ Support for Learning.

The UniSQ Multi-Faith Service supports religious and spiritual life at UniSQ, and can help you connect with local faith communities.

Each year sees vibrant multicultural programs which are about sharing, celebrating and encouraging students from all nationalities, cultures and faiths to get involved and meet students from other cultures.

To see upcoming events and programs visit the Student Events Calendar.

The UniSQ Register of Languages is an important tool for providing voluntary interpreting and translation services.

UniSQ Student Clubs are often student run organisations, and all are for students. Memberships are non-discriminatory and open to all UniSQ students. By joining a club you can make friends, network with like-minded people, and take part in heaps of different activities. You may even become an Executive, developing your leadership and management skills.

To find a club visit the Student Clubs page.
