Study spaces and facilities

Study spaces and facilities are available for UniSQ staff and students to use at each campus.

The UniSQ Makerspace is a community space for all students and staff to come together to make and create.
UniSQ Library is a visible and inclusive safe space for students and staff who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer or questioning (LGBTIQ+).

UniSQ students and staff are welcome to use the Library 24/7 spaces (excluding collection spaces) outside standard opening hours. Swipe your student or staff ID card on the door reader for entry.

UniSQ Library 24/7 spaces include:

  • Springfield Library (Access via the Level 1, A block foyer)
  • Toowoomba Library (Level 2, R block)
  • Ipswich Library (Levels 2 and 3, H block via H208 computer lab)

After-hours library usage guidelines are available for those making use of our 24/7 spaces.

The Library provides assistive technology, spaces and services for students with a disability.
Room bookings are available at each of the UniSQ Libraries. Please note the capacity (maximum number of people per room) when booking.
