  • Use the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration as a stepping-stone in developing your strategic leadership and management skills and start your study towards an MBA.

  • Delivered online in accelerated 8-week teaching blocks, you can fit your study into your life, at your own pace. Choose to study two subjects at a time and finish this degree within eight months, or study part-time and finish within 16 months. 

Further study

Once you successfully complete this degree, and if you meet the entry requirements, you will be offered the option to articulate to the Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Entry requirements

  • Completion of an Australian university 3-year bachelor degree, or equivalent, with a GPA of at least 4.0 out of 7.0, and a minimum of 3 years' relevant professional work experience at management or supervisory level.

English language requirements

You are required to meet the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 with a minimum 6.0 in each subscore. UniSQ also accepts other English language proficiency tests.

If you don't meet the English language requirements, you can apply to study the English for Academic Purposes EAP3 pathway program through the Union Institute of Language (UIL).

Recognition of prior learning or work experience

If you have previously studied in your home country, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.

Degree structure

To complete this degree students must complete 8 units. Most courses (similar to ‘subjects’) are valued at 1 unit. To study full-time you would usually complete 2 units per teaching period.
