Jonny is excited to have an impact as a teacher, he can’t wait to support, encourage, and celebrate the growth of future generations. Being able to study right here on the Darling Downs has also been a huge positive as he starts his education journey.
“I've lived in Toowoomba my whole life, it’s awesome that I can stay in my hometown while I pursue further education. UniSQ has a lovely Toowoomba campus and lots of friendly people to interact with,” he said.
In addition to the convenience UniSQ, learning from experienced teachers during his Bachelor of Education (Primary) has been a real highlight for Jonny.
“The best thing about my study experience at UniSQ is being taught and inspired by great teachers. The on-campus classes are so valuable and have really made my time at UniSQ worth it,” he said.
In fact, it’s been a good experience all round for Jonny.
“UniSQ is a great place to study. There is a super flexible range of study options, great staff, and plenty of support.
“There are also heaps of practical experience opportunities within the degree which is so valuable as a pre-service teacher, it gets you in the field and gives you opportunities to apply your learning.”
