• We do not require your measurements when you do your initial registration. Our gowning staff will fit you on ceremony day.
• Check out the Australian Government’s Department of Homeland Affairs visa processing times. Once you’ve registered and paid your AUD150 Ceremony Fee, you may need a Ceremony Invitation Letter to get a visa. If you’re currently a non-resident living in Australia, and wish to invite your overseas guests to Australia, request your own Ceremony Invitation Letter so you can use this to support your guests' application for a visa. Allow a minimum of at least 1 week after submitting your form to receive your Ceremony Invitation Letter. Late requests may not be processed.
• We’ll provide graduates with a gifted testamur tube (prop) for use in photos before, during and after your ceremony. Your print testamur will be mailed to you but you may like to bring it with you for pre or post ceremony photos.
• University medallists will cross the stage twice during a ceremony to recognise this significant academic achievement. You may like to bring your medal with you for pre or post ceremony studio photos. You will be present with a prop medal box onstage.

• Register via UConnect > Student Centre > Graduations tile (Deferred). Check out the Graduate Response step-by-step instructions.
• Toowoomba ceremony registration and fee payment deadline - midnight Sun 6 Oct 2024
• Ipswich ceremony registration and fee payment deadline - midnight Sun 27 Oct 2024
• If you have previously registered for a ceremony and cancelled, email graduations@unisq.edu.au requesting Manual Ceremony Registration for your preferred ceremony date/location/time.
• Pay the AUD150 Ceremony Fee before the deadline. You'll receive a Payment Summary if your online payment has been successful. Late payment will not be accepted.
• If you need to check or can’t recall if you’ve already paid - go to your Student Centre UConnect > Student Centre > Finances.
• To cancel your ceremony attendance email graduations@unisq.edu.au before the ceremony date. A refund may be possible but is not assured.
• The AUD150 Ceremony Fee covers loaned academic dress (regardless of whether you supply your own gowning), a gifted mortarboard/Doctoral bonnet, a print program and testamur tube, and light refreshments for you and your guests.
• In Step #2 (Reed Portal) graduates will be allocated 5 guests, and Doctoral graduates will be allocated 15 guests. There are no additional guest tickets available. Babies under 12 months do not require a guest ticket but must sit on a guest's lap. Prams may enter the event precinct but are not permitted inside the ceremony.

• 2 weeks prior to the ceremony (PM Wed 6 Nov for Ipswich ceremonies) you’ll receive your Reed Portal email.
• Immediately log into the Reed Portal using the link provided to reconfirm your registration, provide your height, check your academic program details and academic gowning. Once you've do this and submit, you'll receive an email response with your own and your guests' e-tickets including QR codes & allocated seating. Check your Junk Mail if you cannot find this important  email which goes to the email address you add to the portal.
• Each graduate is allowed 5 guests. Doctoral graduates are allowed 15 guests. There are no additional guest tickets available. Babies under 12 months do not require a guest ticket but must sit on a guest's lap. Prams may enter the event precinct but are not permitted inside the ceremony.
• Share your live-streamed ceremony with family and friends who are unable to attend.
• Graduation events take place within a fenced event precinct - only e-ticketed guests and graduates may enter. Academic dress cannot be removed from the precinct.
• Before ceremony day, ensure you share the e-tickets with your guests, or print them so they can enter the event precinct & find their allocated seating for the ceremony without you.
• You'll need to access your e-ticket multiple times on ceremony day to enter the event precinct, collect & return your loaned academic dress and  find your allocated seat for the ceremony.

Share the livestream link with family and friends in advance.
Ceremony day will be busy and you’ll need to arrive on time. If you're late, you may miss your opportunity to cross the stage.
Ensure you have your own e-ticket, and each of your guests have their e-ticket.
Accessible parking (signed) is available close to the venue, and a set-down area is located at the entry to each venue.
Light refreshments are provided post-ceremony for you and your guests.
