Learning Advisors (Discipline specific)
Learning Advisors assist students to develop critical study skills, including:
- unpacking assessment tasks and questions
- goal setting, time management, & self-regulated learning
- communication & teamwork skills
- academic integrity
- mathematics and statistics; and
- general learning and study strategies such as exam preparation and learning from lectures.
Learning Advisors provide learning support in five main discipline areas: Education; Engineering, Sciences & IT; Business & Commerce, Health & Communities; and UniSQ College, College for First Nations & the Arts.
Learning Advisors (First Nations students)
First Nations Learning Advisors assist First Nations students to develop critical study skills, including:
unpacking assessment tasks and questions
goal setting, time management, & self-regulated learning
communication skills & teamwork skills academic integrity
mathematics and statistics; and
general learning and study strategies such as exam preparation and learning from lectures.
Learning Advisors (Mathematics)
Maths Learning Advisors can assist with:
- question analysis
- pre-requisite knowledge
- calculator use; and
- arithmetic, algebra, calculus, graphing, statistics and trigonometry.
