Overview
- The Associate Degree of Engineering will give you the freedom of choice to start up your engineering career or set a stepping stone for further study. Study while you work, either externally or on-campus, and have the flexibility to adapt your study to your life.
- Within relevant courses, you will apply practical analysis and technical principles to all areas of civil engineering, including the design, material testing, construction, inspection, plant operation and manufacturing processes involved.
- Gain practical experience and work with practicing engineers as mentors through project-based learning and hands-on residential school courses. A significant portion of your degree connects with industry and align with the UN's sustainability development goals.
- Already have a Diploma through TAFE or experience through work? Then fast track your degree with the credit you’ve already earned.
Further study
This degree is a great stepping stone to our Bachelor of Engineering Technology or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) where you will be credited for your studies already undertaken in the Associate Degree of Engineering.
