Overview
- A double degree of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws gives you an edge when applying for jobs as a community lawyer, legal officer, barrister or solicitor. When combined with a major in History, International Relations, or Social Justice, this double degree enables you to follow your passion and pursue a range of employment.
- By completing a double degree, your opportunities for employment will expand and you will graduate sooner than if you were to complete two separate degrees.
- The different areas of law you will explore throughout the degree include criminal law, legal conflict and resolution and legal professional practice and ethics. This is then combined with an Arts major of your choice, including Anthropology and Archaeology, Creative and Critical Writing, English Literature, Journalism, International Relations, History, and Contemporary Media.
- When graduating with a double degree, you will receive a separate testamur (official certificate) for each degree.
