Professional accreditation

The Bachelor of Information Technology is accredited at professional level by the Australian Computer Society and, through the Seoul Accord, is recognised in other countries. The Seoul Accord is a multi-lateral agreement that allows ACS accreditation to be recognised globally. This means when you graduate, your degree will be recognised by other countries who are members of the Accord.

Finance major in Bachelor of Business will meet the educational entrance requirements to become a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).

UniSQ is seeking accreditation for the Human Resource Management major by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). Upon accreditation approval, this major will satisfy the educational requirements for professional membership of AHRI.

English language requirements

You are required to meet the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 with a minimum 5.5 in each subscore. UniSQ also accepts other English language proficiency tests.

If you don't meet the English language requirements, you can apply to study with our English language partner, the Union Institute of Language (UIL), or if you're a domestic student you can apply to study UniSQ Ready courses TPP0122 and TPP0123.

Recognition of prior learning or work experience

You may be eligible for recognition of prior learning if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.

What are the entry requirements?

The entry requirements to study a Bachelor of Business Information Technology (IT) will vary depending on the education provider you choose.

To study at UniSQ a minimum ATAR, subject pre-requisites and assumed knowledge all need to be met before enrolling. Assumed knowledge refers to required level of knowledge needed in certain subject areas (for example maths or English).

The duration of a Bachelor of Business and IT will vary depending on which university you choose to study with. At UniSQ, this double degree will take about four years to complete.
