The University of Southern Queensland Strategic Plan 2021-2025 articulates the University’s aspirations for the period 2021-2025. Building upon our strength as Australia’s leading regional University, the Plan expresses the key commitments across Impact, Connections, People and Places that will enable realisation of the University’s vision for innovation and excellence.

Education Plan

The UniSQ Education Plan 2022-2025 provides a clear framework to strengthen quality and excellence in UniSQ's program portfolio; learning and teaching; and the student experience.

Research Plan

The UniSQ Research Plan 2021 - 2025 establishes a framework to transform the University's research ecosystem and continue to drive the growth of the University's flagships in agriculture, health, space and defence and regional development.

Engagement Plan

The UniSQ Engagement Plan 2021 - 2025 is a core strategy which covers all aspects of engagement at UniSQ.

International Strategy

The UniSQ International Strategy 2020-2024 and UniSQ International Strategy Summary seeks to help align all our expectations and ambitions for internationalisation and to chart a path to measured growth in international students, far greater student and staff mobility, and the continued development of our already significant international research collaborations and partnerships.  

First Nations Blueprint

The Blueprint for First Nations Education, Research, and Engagement at the University of Southern Queensland 2022-2025 and First Nations Blueprint Summary provides a high-level plan to guide and shape future directions in First Nations education, research, and engagement at UniSQ.  

UniSQ First Nations Education Strategy

The UniSQ First Nations Education Strategy is designed to support the priorities of the University's First Nations higher education students. It emphasises excellence in First Nations education through five key pillars: Cultural Safety, Learning and Teaching, Education Pathways, Leadership and People and Relationships. 

UniSQ First Nations Research Strategy

The First Nations Research Strategy 2024-2028 provides the three interconnecting pillars of excellence for building First Nations researcher capacity, partnering with Community and building culturally safe researchers. 

People Strategy 

The UniSQ People Strategy 2021-2025 enables the University to build a future-fit workforce in support of the UniSQ Strategic Plan. Reinforced by our core values, the People Strategy has been shaped across three connect pillars: People, Purpose and Place.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Protocols

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Protocols provides guidance for interacting with First Nations people and communities. This document includes conduct requirements for operationalising First Nations strategies and frameworks as well as those of the University. 

The First Nations Strategic Workforce Framework

The First Nations Strategic Workforce Framework 2024-2025 outlines the guiding principles for the university-wide approach to advance educational, employment, training, and career opportunities for First Nations people at the University.

Diversity and Inclusion Framework

The Diversity and Inclusion Framework supports our people to achieve their full potential in a fair, inclusive and diverse environment enabled by robust diversity and inclusion strategies, policies and initiatives.
